About Us
Meet Rory Stevens, a Seattle native whose unique journey to becoming an accomplished attorney shapes the foundation of Stevens Law PLLC. Growing up in Seattle, a legal career was far from Rory’s thoughts. After completing high school in Sheridan, Oregon, he pursued his interest in acting, spending five years in Los Angeles immersed in acting classes, background roles, and film production and editing work. Life eventually guided him back to his roots and family, sparking an interest in web design and interactive media. He enrolled at the Art Institute of Seattle to earn a bachelor’s degree in this creative field.
A turning point occurred when Rory served on a jury during a break between school terms, where he observed the legal expertise of Lawrence Kahn. This experience led him to pursue law school after completing his degree, and with focused effort, he prepared for the LSAT and gained admission to Seattle University School of Law. During law school, he connected with Lawrence Kahn, who recognized his potential and hired him as a law clerk at Lawrence Kahn Law Group (LKLG).
Undeterred by the challenges of the 2020 pandemic and protests, Rory pressed forward, passing both the Washington State bar exam and the California bar exam within six months of each other. He later returned to LKLG as an associate attorney, further refining his expertise over nearly three years while tackling complex personal injury cases At LKLG, Rory gained valuable experience working on diverse cases, including slip and falls, police misconduct, assaults on public transportation, nursing home neglect, and medical malpractice, honing his skills under seasoned attorneys.
Now, Rory has founded Stevens Law PLLC, continuing to associate with Lawrence Kahn Law Group to provide exceptional legal services.
Outside the legal arena, Rory enjoys a dynamic life in West Seattle. A dedicated fitness enthusiast, he regularly visits the gym to maintain his health. His passion for music shines as he sings and plays the piano, and he also unwinds with books and video games, blending creativity with relaxation.
